Born in Cardiff, Wales, Osian Roberts took up the saxophone aged nine, and hasbeen pursuing a career as a jazz musician ever since. He studied at the RoyalAcademy of Music in London, and after graduating in 1998, performed with manyof the UK's foremost musicians, including Sir John Dankworth, Iain Ballamy, JimMullen, Mike Carr, and Peter Ind.More recently he's recorded with international jazz stars Cedar Walton, GeorgeMráz, Hod O'Brien and Peter Washington, and has four albums under his ownname on the Hard Bop Records label. He spends a lot of time on the road, andhas toured in over twenty five countries during his career, travelling as far asThailand and the U.S. to perform....
